TSMC Spending US$706.5 Mln on Production Technologies

TSMC recently stated that its board has approved spending US$706.5 million on expanding 65nm process capacity at its 12-inch wafer plants, and 0.15 micron and 0.18 micron process capacity at its eight-inch wafer sites. No details were given on the time period in which the money will be spent.
